Job Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Cherry Picker Operator, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring efficient materials handling and order fulfillment. In this energetic position, you will operate specialized equipment to pick, load, and unload products with precision and safety. Your expertise will help maintain smooth warehouse distribution processes, support shipping and receiving operations, and uphold our commitment to safety standards. Duties Safely operate cherry pickers, reach trucks, and forklifts to retrieve and place inventory at various warehouse locations. Execute order picking tasks accurately using warehouse management systems and picker tools to ensure precise fulfillment of customer orders. Load and unload materials efficiently while adhering to OSHA safety regulations and best practices for lifting and materials handling. Conduct routine equipment inspections, perform basic mechanical repairs, or report issues promptly to ensure optimal operation of all machinery. Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, updating inventory records, and maintaining organized storage areas. Support warehouse management by maintaining accurate records of inventory movements, conducting cycle counts, and participating in warehouse distribution processes. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve safety protocols, and ensure compliance with all safety standards. Experience Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and order picking procedures Prior experience with warehouse supervision or leading small teams is a plus, but not required. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation.
