Job Description

    Material Handler
  • Job Description
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Material Handler to join our first shift team. This role is pivotal in managing inventory, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring effective communication with leadership to facilitate a smooth site shutdown. You will be responsible for packing products and dispatching them to different sites.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Perform daily inventory counts, cycle audits, and reconcile discrepancies.
+ Maintain accurate records and notes on stock movement, damages, and adjustments. + Communicate inventory status and issues to management and team leads. + Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments. + Pick, pack, and prepare orders for outbound delivery. + Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and barcode scanners safely. + Assist with general warehouse upkeep and organization.
  • Essential Skills
  • + General labor skills. + Experience in packaging, packing, shipping, and receiving. + Proficiency with using a cherry picker and forklift. + Material handling capabilities.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Familiarity with labeling and shipping procedures. + Ability to load and handle materials efficiently.

  • Work Environment

  • This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kennesaw, GA.
  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
