Job Description
Warehouse Associate Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our growing distribution team. This role is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and maintaining an organized and safe work environment. The ideal candidate has prior warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced distribution setting. Key Responsibilities Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment while meeting quality and productivity standards. Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and order pickers, in a safe and efficient manner. Receive inbound shipments, verify quantities and product accuracy, and process receipts within the warehouse management system. Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are handled properly and stored according to company standards. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock replenishment, and proper product organization. Utilize RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory software to track inventory movements and process orders. Package products securely to ensure safe transportation and customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused warehouse environment. Follow all company policies, operational procedures, and workplace safety guidelines. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or inventory management experience preferred. Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanning equipment. Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP, MRP, or inventory management software. Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes. Ability to accurately perform inventory counts and basic mathematical calculations. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday. Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
