Job DescriptionJOB DETAILSPay range $21.00 - $23.00 per hour (based on experience)

Shift:

6:00 am - 2:30 pm (Rotating Day)

DUTIES AND

RESPONSIBILITIESCheck, shuttle, move, and perform all essential functions of the LoaderLoading trucks place parts on trailers in a safe hauling manner in accordance with manufacturing procedures to ensure the product does not get damaged during shipmentPackage, crate, or load items to ensure safe arrival and capacity loadingPackages parts using all types of crating and packaging materials, metal bands, covering, or other methods to secure and protect parts in shipment and for weighing trucks of items as requiredResponsible for each lift and decides when to check actual vs. maximum allowable trailer loadCheck each load being made to assure that the job is completeMust expedite completion of work in process to meet production schedulesUnload and check items against freight bills, packing lists, or shipping notices and make notations of damages, shortages, and other irregularities and notify Team LeaderGives on-the-job direction to new shipping/warehouse employees and/or others assisting in shipping/warehouse areMust be able to load/unload transfer trucks and load multi-drop route trucksAssist with inventory counts as requiredMaintains continuous improvement practices in the work areaMay be assigned other projects and duties as designated by Team Leader.

QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious warehouse experience (2-3 year) preferredAbility to safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds regularlyBasic computer proficiency and experience with inventory management systemsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic math skills for inventory calculationsAbility to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocolsForklift certification preferredPhysical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periodsStrong communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentReliable transportation to work location
