Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate supports end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, processing, storing, picking, and shipping. This role ensures accurate inventory management, high-quality product handling, and on-time order fulfillment. Depending on business needs, associates may specialize or rotate across functional areas such as receiving, processing, picking, shipping, small parts inventory, AutoStore operations, or coordination. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational flow, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities Inbound & Receiving Receive, verify, and process incoming products, including purchase orders and blind bids Inspect products for accuracy, quality, and damage; escalate discrepancies as needed Accurately record inventory in warehouse management systems Processing & Product Handling Evaluate, sort, and process items for storage, resale, or listing (including research and web listing where applicable) Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and system updates Order Fulfillment (Picking & Shipping) Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately and efficiently based on customer requirements Coordinate shipments to meet service-level expectations and delivery timelines Verify order accuracy prior to shipment Inventory Management Store and organize inventory according to warehouse standards and location systems Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies Specialized Operations (as assigned) Operate and support automated systems (e.g., AutoStore) Manage small parts inventory with high accuracy and attention to detail Coordinate workflow, priorities, and order movement across functions Equipment Safety & Cleanliness Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and in compliance with training Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment Follow all company safety policies and regulatory requirements METRICS Order accuracy and quality Order cycle time / throughput Inventory accuracy Productivity (units processed per hour/day) Safety compliance and incident prevention
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Attention to
Detail:
High accuracy in inventory handling and order fulfillment
Operational Awareness:
Understanding of warehouse workflows, systems, and material flow
Technical Aptitude:
Ability to learn warehouse systems and industrial/automation-related products
Problem Solving:
Ability to identify issues and take corrective action (inventory discrepancies, order errors, etc.)
Communication:
Clear, professional interaction with team members and leadership
Teamwork:
Ability to collaborate across functions in a fast-paced environment
Adaptability:
Flexibility to shift between roles, priorities, and processes
Basic Computer Skills:
Familiarity with warehouse systems and Microsoft 365 tools
Mathematical Skills:
Basic counting, measurement, and data entry accuracy
Work Environment:
Fast-paced warehouse setting with varying priorities. Exposure to equipment, moving machinery, and changing temperatures depending on facility
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience preferred Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or automation systems is a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Frequent standing and walking throughout shift Repetitive hand and motion activities Occasional bending, reaching, climbing, kneeling, or crouching Ability to lift:
  • Up to 10 lbs continuously
  • Up to 25 lbs frequently
  • Up to 50 lbs occasionally
WORK SCHEDULE
This is an hourly position. The schedule for this position is 8am- 5pm Monday through Friday, with a 1-hour meal break. Employee is expected to come to work on time and adhere to accepted time-off policies. Employee is required to be available for overtime or extra hours as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The environment is a plant and inventory setting. Dress attire is casual but professional in a plant and inventory setting. All employees are encouraged to wear "Radwear" (apparel with company logo) at all times once the initial supply (at company expense) has been received. Closed-toe, hard sole shoes must be worn. Safety shoes are recommended. Radwell ID Badge and Access card must be worn at all times. Employees must adhere to all Radwell Safety Requirements at all times (see safety manual posted online).

The Company provides company sponsored short-term and long-term disability benefits, as well as $50,000 in Life insurance. These benefits, along with additional voluntary benefits, are available to all regular full-time employees beginning on first day of employment . All employees are automatically enrolled at 3% into the Company's 401(k) Plan on the first of the month following 90 days of continuous employment. Employees are eligible for common paid Company Holidays and 15 days of PTO annually, which begin accruing on first date of employment and may be used immediately upon joining the team.
