Warehouse Associate Summary:
A Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of a warehouse facility. They are responsible for various tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing goods within the warehouse. The ideal candidate should possess physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.Responsibilities:
Receiving:
Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against shipping documents, and inspect for damages. Unload trucks, palletize goods, and ensure accurate recording of received items into the inventory system. Sort and label incoming goods for proper storage or distribution.Storage:
Organize and store received items in designated locations within the warehouse. Ensure proper handling and stacking of goods to maximize storage space and prevent damage. Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels.Shipping:
Load outgoing shipments onto trucks using forklifts or other equipment as needed. Verify shipment accuracy against shipping documents and resolve discrepancies if any. Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to schedule pickups and deliveries.Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment such as forklifts, Core Drill, Battery Operating Tools, etc. Report any maintenance issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel for timely repairs.Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow company policies and procedures regarding quality control, security, and regulatory compliance. Ability to work in a non-controlled warehouse environment. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Have a cleanMVR Teamwork:
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operation of the warehouse. Communicate with management. Drive materials to job site. •Offsite fence materials delivery, fence repairs and installation•- when neccesary you will be tasked with completing fence punch out lists that required use of power tools, picking up 80LB concrete bags and fence materials and working in residential yards and commercial construction sites.Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred. Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jack. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Flexibility to work some overtime (M-F) or Saturday (as needed) Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to warehouse operations.
