Full Job Description Job Overview:
The Warehouse Operator (Programming Focus) offers an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to get experience with a mix of programming, development, coding, and warehousing fulfillment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Fulfillment and Administrative teams to program, troubleshoot, and maintain automated control systems that drive our fulfillment operations. This role requires strong proficiency in front-end and back-end coding such as Typescript and React, and fulfillment operations combined with a passion for problem-solving and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Fulfillment:
Bottle, label, pull, pack, prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
Implementation:
Receive daily reports, logs, and task lists from Admin Team and Fulfillment Management team to flesh out software enhancements, bug fixes, and operational tweaks in an efficient manner
Systems & Integrations Oversight:
Direct how internal tools connect to e-commerce, shipping, and inventory platforms, keeping orders, fulfillment status, and stock accurate and in sync. Spot when data falls out of sync, diagnose root causes, and drive fixes.
Team Collaboration:
Communicate clearly across pulling, packing, labeling, machinery, and shipping teams to maintain flow, prevent bottlenecks, and meet daily production targets.
Reporting & Coachability:
Receive and execute direction from leadership with professionalism and urgency, remain coachable and responsive to feedback, and consistently adhere to established processes, workflows, and performance standards.
TypeScript Software Maintenance:
Ensure TypeScript applications, Claude Code projects, automations, integrations, and supporting systems remain stable, secure, and fully operational to support daily business function across various platforms such as Vercel and Supabase.
Software Strategy & Development:
Lead the ongoing evolution of software solutions by identifying, prioritizing, and implementing enhancements that improve scalability, efficiency, and operational performance.
Analytics & Accountability:
Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics to establish baselines, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen accountability through data-driven insights.
Key Questions:
What is the single biggest bottleneck preventing fulfillment from operating faster, more accurately, or more efficiently today? If a critical automation, integration, or software system fails, how quickly will we know and how quickly can it be resolved? Can leadership trust the operational data, reporting, and inventory information being used to make decisions? What software enhancement, automation, or process improvement will create the greatest operational impact next? Are our systems, dashboards, and metrics driving accountability, or are performance issues going unnoticed?
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or have completed an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in web development, programming, software support, fulfillment operations, or a related field. Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Vercel, Supabase, Github, and modern web development.
