BASIC SCOPE/PURPOSE
Help assign workload and monitor the night operations in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Assist in planning and the coordination of work schedules, trains and motivates, monitors and evaluates performance of PM shift; ensures their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations. Maintains an equipment structure and level to accomplish the order selecting, load staging and truck loading mission in a safe and effective manner. Monitors the order selecting of all products; ensures products are staged for route and/or loaded in delivery vehicles. Monitors the flow of paperwork from Selectors for timely data entry; measures PM warehouse performance for accuracy, reporting, movement and storage of product, and route orders. Promote safety; ensuring that employees are adhering to our Food Safety Program. Maintain all phases of facility sanitation. End-of-day security of facility and vehicles. Performs other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Three to five years experience in Warehousing, Receiving, Inventory Control, or order Management in a distribution environment experience. Knowledge of Warehouse and Material Handling operations, methods, and practices. Possess the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
