Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Warehouse Worker/Forklift Driver to support our food manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for accurately receiving, storing, picking, and shipping raw materials and finished goods while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is a team player who operates forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment. Key Responsibilities Safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and/or pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials. Receive incoming raw materials and supplies, verify quantities and paperwork, and put away stock in designated locations. Pick and stage finished goods and ingredients for production and outbound shipments. Load and unload trucks using proper procedures to prevent product damage. Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems. Follow correct rotation protocol for all products and procedures. Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of debris to support GMP and food safety standards. Perform daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately. Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and general warehouse housekeeping. Comply with all food safety requirements, including allergen controls, temperature monitoring, and proper handling of food-grade materials. Work collaboratively with production, quality and maintenance teams to meet daily goals.
