In this role, you will be responsible for selecting and packing items for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and safely transporting goods to our customers. You will play a key role in ensuring efficiency and accuracy in the order fulfillment process. You will work closely with other team members to meet daily goals and ensure customer satisfaction. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and strong time management skills.
WAREHOUSE ORDER PICKER RESPONSIBILITIES
Efficiently pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications. Pack and prepare items for shipment in accordance with company standards. Check for accuracy of picked items and ensure correct quantities are packed. Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient workflow. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily performance targets. Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
BACKUP DELIVERY DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely operate and navigate a delivery van or truck to transport goods to customers Load and unload cargo in a secure and timely manner Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspection of the vehicle Follow delivery schedules and and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods with a friendly and professional attitude. Communicate with customers regarding delivery times
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an extended period of time Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing Proficient in basic computer skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
