Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate (Heavy Equipment Operator). Whether you're experienced in warehouse environments or eager to learn new skills, this position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, supportive setting. We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate with experience operating large equipment such as telehandlers, excavators, balers, forklifts, or rotators. This role is hands-on and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to be cross trained in multiple areas of the warehouse operation. Duties Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport inventory safely and efficiently. Use warehouse management systems to track inventory. Support shipping & receiving operations by verifying shipments against packing lists and preparing items for dispatch. Operate heavy equipment including telehandlers, excavators, and balers safely and efficiently Load, unload, and move and or sort materials within the warehouse and yard Sort and process materials with a high level of accuracy Assist with general warehouse duties and maintain a clean work environment Follow all safety procedures and company policies Participate in cross-training across various operational roles Ability to work well with others Document work details accurately and timely Qualifications Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure accuracy. Prior experience operating large equipment (telehandler, excavator required) CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform load & unload tasks safely. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced environment.
