Job Overview:

Kamps is looking to hire pallet repairmen. These individuals repair pallets per customer specifications, following guidelines set forth by the Plant Manager.

Essential Functions:

Must meet all quotas as established by supervisor and Operations Manager Always inspect pallet, only turning once in repair process, as shown by supervisor Repair pallets according to customer specifications, or as directed by supervisor Turn in piecework sheets daily to supervisor Clean work area daily Expected to have minimal amount of rejects, per your plants reject policy. All nail heads and wedges sticking out of pallet tops and sides must be pounded down Duties that are specific to your plant, as directed by your supervisor (for example; saving reusable deck boards, spraying out heat treat stamps, etc.) Responsible to know and observe rules of conduct and safety rules at all times Must check with supervisor before leaving to assure area is being left in acceptable condition.

Requirements & Qualifications:

A repair team member should be able to lift repetitively and have a good knowledge of pallets or ability and patience to learn about various pallets Have good communication skills Repair team members need to have a good work ethic and good attendance Must be prepared to work in all types of weather/temperature conditions Must be quality and safety minded at all times Training will be provided
