7:00am-3:30pm QPS Employment Group has a great Warehouse position available at a company in Oskaloosa, IA. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Warehouse Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.
- Maintain the warehouse in a neat, clean, and organized fashion.
- Inspect and perform minor maintenance on motorized equipment, including trucks and trailers throughout the day.
- Move and wash out trailers once they are unloaded.
- Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to proper storage locations.
- Verify that inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage; report any quality variances to the appropriate team members.
- Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the correct amount and type of product is loaded and shipped.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reports to support inventory control and food safety requirements.
- Create shipping and receiving reports accurately using company software.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures, including OSHA, USDA, FSIS, HACCP, and SDS standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Warehouse Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one year of forklift operator experience (stand-up and traditional)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Skilled in operating hand and electric pallet jacks and pallet wrappers.
- Stand and work on foot for extended periods throughout the day.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60 lbs.
- Visually interpret instructions, operate machinery, and inspect products and materials.
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
