JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to oversee the physical and administrative flow of goods. This role is critical to our supply chain, requiring a mix of physical labor, forklift operations, and precise inventory management through weekly cycle counts. Base schedule is
M-F. PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES
Material Handling:
Efficiently move raw materials and finished goods to designated storage areas or production lines.
Shipping & Receiving:
Unload incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips. Prepare outbound shipments, ensuring proper labeling, palletizing, and documentation. Inspect incoming goods for damage and report discrepancies immediately.
Inventory Control:
Maintain bin accuracy
- verify that all parts are stored in their correct bin/supermarket locations and update system records to reflect accurate placement. Perform put-away tasks
- complete timely and accurate put-away of received materials following FIFO, part flow, and warehouse zoning standards. Audit storage locations
- conduct routine checks to ensure bins are properly labeled, organized, and free of misplaced or obsolete items. Verifying receiving
- work with the Production Team to confirm part ID, quantities, and documentation. Resolving discrepancies
- conduct weekly cycle counts ton ensure physical inventory matches system records. Identify and correct any mismatches between physical inventory and system records, escalating issues when necessary. Support material flow
- ensure parts are staged and available in the correct supermarket locations to support production demand and minimize downtime. Maintain warehouse standards
- uphold 5S, safety, and cleanliness standards within all storage areas.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate a forklift to load/unload trucks and move high-density racking materials.
Customer Relations:
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team and external partners to coordinate inventory, shipments, and operational priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certification:
Must be able to safely and efficiently operate a forklift and become a Dose Forklift Certified Operator.
Experience:
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a warehouse distribution center environment operating a forklift.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with inventory management software (ERP/WMS) or basic Excel for tracking counts, recording inventory receipts, and shipping out products.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely lift a minimum of 75lbs. independently and stand/walk for extended periods. Prescreening drug test is required. Valid driver's license. Authorized to legally work in the United States without sponsorship.
