- 4:00 PM Benefits Health Insurance (WPL pays 60% of employee premium) Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Employee Referral Program PTO accrual beginning on date of hire (13 days during the first year) Position Summary The Critical Parts / Special Accounts Specialist is responsible for managing high-priority customer accounts and ensuring the timely sourcing, ordering, and delivery of critical replacement parts.
This role serves as the primary point of contact for key customers, coordinating with suppliers, inventory teams, sales representatives, and logistics partners to minimize downtime and maintain exceptional customer satisfaction. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple urgent requests in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Receive, identify, sort, and stage incoming freight in designated warehouse locations Load and unload freight from trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling methods in accordance with WPL procedures Hand-load, rewrap, stack, and secure freight as needed Ensure freight is properly secured within trucks, trailers, and warehouse staging areas Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Support inventory management of critical parts and customer-owned inventory Serve as a liaison for key accounts by supporting inventory control and scheduling requirements Assist with warehouse organization, labeling, cycle counts, and other operational duties as assigned Qualifications Forklift experience preferred (training available for qualified candidates) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and customer service skills Basic computer skills preferred Reliable attendance and punctuality Physical Requirements Ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing Frequent use of hands for grasping and fine manipulation Ability to bend, squat, crawl, climb, and reach throughout the workday Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly Disclaimer This job description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of all duties, responsibilities, or activities required of the position.
