Warehouseman, Class II, Local 673
Reports To:
Branch Manager/Warehouse Supervisor McCann Vision & Values:

Integrity, Respect, Reliability & Urgency. The Warehouseman II is responsible for efficiently and accurately handling and coordinating all goods and inventory in a warehouse setting. This includes general warehouse duties such as storing, organizing, and distributing products, building maintenance, housekeeping, fabrication, operating a forklift, as well as managing stock receipts and being responsible for transfer picks. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Order Fulfillment:
Pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring products are correctly packed and labeled as per customer orders, DPO's, rental contracts, shipping orders.
Organizing Products:
Coordinate all goods and inventory in the warehouse, move materials and equipment from receiving or production area to appropriate locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper labeling and easy access. Responsible for transfer picks, and maintaining all materials and equipment in an organized manner according to predetermined sequence, and ensure rotation of date sensitive materials.
Fabrication:
Operate fabrication equipment in a safe and efficient manner to fulfill customer orders or internal needs.
Inventory Management:
Manage stock receipts, maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and report discrepancies. Date and record necessary information for items received and distributed.
Material Handling:
Use warehouse equipment (such as forklifts, pallet jacks) to move and store materials.
Delivery/Pick Up:
Occasionally deliver or pick up items at customer, vendor or other branches.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety guidelines, use personal protective equipment, and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Customer Service:
Assist with resolving inventory-related issues or queries from other departments or customers.
Teamwork:
Collaborate with other warehouse staff to meet operational goals and ensure efficient workflow. Fill in for other warehouseman or drivers at other locations when necessary.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED, (3) year related experience, Basic written and oral communication skills, Basic reading and comprehension skills, and Computer literacy. Must successfully complete forklift training.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing and walking; use hands to finger, handle or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, and hear; moderate levels of climbing, balancing and lifting up to 100 lbs utilizing safe methods with equipment or assistance; vision requirements include close, distance and color.
