Primary Function:

The Warehouse Control Desk Associate is responsible for coordinating daily warehouse operations through the Warehouse Management System (WMS). This role supports order fulfillment by releasing and managing order waves/batches, monitoring workflow throughout the warehouse, and assisting with order picking as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable using computers and warehouse software for extended periods, and able to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities:

Operate warehouse computer systems and WMS software throughout the shift Release, monitor, and manage order waves/batches to support daily shipping goals Prioritize orders based on shipping schedules, customer requirements, and operational needs Communicate with warehouse supervisors and team members regarding workflow, inventory issues, and order status Monitor order progress and troubleshoot system or fulfillment issues as they arise Print and distribute picking documents, labels, and shipping paperwork Assist with inventory tracking Perform order picking and other warehouse duties during high-volume periods or as needed Maintain accuracy and productivity standards Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance warehouse efficiencyAll other tasks assigned by the leadership team

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
