The Company supports over 2,500 SKUs across our four main product categories which include: Pool & Leisure (Above Ground Pools, Pool Liners, Winter and Safety Covers, Cleaners, Pumps and Filters, Floats and Toys and Accessories) Indoor and Outdoor Games (Billiards, Air Hockey, Shuffleboards, Darts, etc.), Infrared Saunas (1-4 Person Hemlock and Cedar Wood Saunas) and Patio Furniture (Umbrellas, Hammocks, Patio Sets, Lounge Chairs, etc.) Based in Batavia, IL, the Company operates from a 275,000 sq ft state-of-the-art warehouse and office facility.Primary Function:
The Warehouse Control Desk Associate is responsible for coordinating daily warehouse operations through the Warehouse Management System (WMS). This role supports order fulfillment by releasing and managing order waves/batches, monitoring workflow throughout the warehouse, and assisting with order picking as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable using computers and warehouse software for extended periods, and able to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.Responsibilities:
Operate warehouse computer systems and WMS software throughout the shift Release, monitor, and manage order waves/batches to support daily shipping goals Prioritize orders based on shipping schedules, customer requirements, and operational needs Communicate with warehouse supervisors and team members regarding workflow, inventory issues, and order status Monitor order progress and troubleshoot system or fulfillment issues as they arise Print and distribute picking documents, labels, and shipping paperwork Assist with inventory tracking Perform order picking and other warehouse duties during high-volume periods or as needed Maintain accuracy and productivity standards Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance warehouse efficiencyAll other tasks assigned by the leadership teamKnowledge and Skill Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalentBasic computer skillsEfficient time management and organizational skillsAbility to handle stressful situations while maintaining a positive attitudeGood communicationPhysical Requirements:
Frequent use of computers and office equipment within a warehouse settingAbility to stand or walk for extended periodsWilling to work weekends and overtime during peak business periodsAbility to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditionsSimilar remote jobs
