Job Description
Our client, a leading logistics and freight handling organization, is seeking a General Labor to join their team. As a General Labor, you will be part of the operations support team, assisting with the movement and handling of freight, stock, and materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

7AM-3:30PM What's the Job? Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material needs Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, and containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, and other equipment Sort cargo before loading and unloading What's Needed? High school diploma or GED required 0-2 years of experience required Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability Team player and detail-oriented Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective operations What's in it for me?
