MATERIAL
HANDLER IN BOLINGBROOK, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Material Handler to join our team in Bolingbrook, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for supporting production and distribution by safely moving, organizing, and tracking inventory. The ideal candidate will possess ability to lift heavy objects (typically up to 50 lbs), familiarity with inventory tracking software, barcode scanners, and computerized scales, and often requires valid Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification. Bolingbrook, Illinois Duties and Responsibilities Inventory Management:
Receive, store, and organize raw materials and finished goods. Update stock records in the warehouse or ERP system.
Order Fulfillment & Staging:
Pull materials for production orders and stage finished products for shipping.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate equipment such as forklifts such as but not limited to: Reach, Sitdown and Standup forklift
Quality & Safety Compliance:
Inspect materials for damage, maintain a clean workspace, and adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety standards.
Documentation:
Verify packing lists, complete shipping orders, and record units delivered.
Requirements and Qualifications Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift heavy objects (typically up to 50 lbs) and stand or walk for long periods.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with inventory tracking software, barcode scanners, and computerized scales.
Certifications:
Often requires valid Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification to operate heavy equipment.in reading work orders, matching serial numbers, and counting stock. — (Salary range based on experience) —
