We are a small company that is looking to fill a general warehouse position that would mainly consist of picking and packing orders, shipping, and receiving. This is a pick and pack warehouse position NOT a forklift warehouse position.
Qualifications :
- Excellent attention to details and organizational skills This is crucial for correctly identifying, picking, and packing the right small parts based on order specifications, preventing errors and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Stamina to stand for long periods of time Picking and packing parts involves standing and walking for most of your shift, bending, lifting, and handling items efficiently with good hand-eye coordination. Ability to lift 60 lbs. on a regular basis
- Basic Math Skills Essential for correctly picking orders, counting inventory, verifying quantities, and weighing items. Picking accuracy is a must. Math and comprehension test is given.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task with strong organization Skills Keeping the work area tidy, shelves organized, and inventory neatly arranged is crucial for efficient operation
- Strong communication skills Clear communication with teammates and supervisors and being able to articulate both verbally and written helps ensure smooth operations and quick resolution of issues.
- Reliability, Dependability and Good Time Management Skills Showing up on time and having the ability to work quickly and accurately while managing time effectively helps to keep the entire warehouse work flow efficient
- Completely clean criminal background check and drug test
- Note - this is NOT a warehouse position that you are using a forklift to fill orders - this is hand picking to fill orders
- Experience in the below is a plus but not required, willing to train.
- Fishbowl Warehouse Operating System and Handheld Barcode Scanner systems
- UPS, Fed-Ex, and USPS shipping systems
- Previous work in a small item hand pick/pack warehouse Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Order picking/packing and processing
- Shipping/receiving Assist with special projects
- Perform inventory and cycle counts Perform other warehouse duties as assigned Salary Commensurate with Experience.
