In this role, you will be responsible for various warehouse tasks that support the efficient operation of our facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in order fulfillment, i.e., the picking, packing and preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities Work with our order system to review orders, print pick slips, and identify any special order handling. Pick products from warehouse locations, pack and prepare orders for shipping to customers according to established packing and shipping guidelines. Determine most economical shipping methods. Enter and record shipping information into order system, print shipping labels and packing lists, and finalize orders for shipment, being careful to follow any special requirements. If LTL truck shipment, load packages on pallets based on order requirements. Notify order management staff of inaccuracies in inventory. Re-stock pick locations as required. Assist with unloading containers when needed. Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, fork lifts if necessary. Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of materials as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Build and prepare packages for shipment, ensuring all items are securely packed and labeled correctly. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies as needed. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines. Qualifications Previous experience working in warehouse environment Ability to juggle changing schedule and tasks daily Basic computer skills Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 60 pounds) safely and effectively. Ability to stand, stoop, and bend and work continuously on feet standing or walking. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. A commitment to maintaining safety standards in all aspects of work. Forklift certification preferred.
