General Labor - Weld Department (Cordova, IL) Monday-Thursday | 4-Day Work Week | 10-Hour Shifts = 3-Day Weekends At George Evans Corporation, we don't just fill positions—we build a team of people who take pride in hard work, quality, and doing things the right way. What You'll Be Doing This is a hands-on role in our Weld Department where no two days feel exactly the same: Grind, prep, and finish metal parts to meet quality standards Inspect materials, in-process work, and finished products Read prints and follow procedures to get the job done right Operate hoists, cranes, and shop equipment safely Use measuring tools to make sure everything is within spec Help identify and prevent quality issues before they become problems Work side-by-side with a team focused on productivity and efficiency (You're not just "general labor"—you're a key part of making sure our products leave here right the first time.)
