Warehouse Associate

Summary The Warehouse Associate is responsible for day-to-day warehouse activities including kitting, drop shipment processing, shipping and receiving product, and processing customer returns. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Filling and shipping customer orders, ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation Assemble product kits Process customer drop ship orders Receive replenishment inventory into warehouse locations Forklift operation to move inventory Position Type/Hours of Work This is a full-time hourly position. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm with additional overtime as needed to complete tasks. Work Environment/Physical Demands The employee frequently is required to stand. Walking, bending, pushing, reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs. is also required of this position. Temperature in the distribution center can vary greatly from warm to cool depending upon the season. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of shipping/distributing/picking/packing warehouse experience preferred Ideal to have a valid forklift license with a minimum of 1 year experience Experience with warehouse management software Prior use of FedEx/UPS software is desirable The company is the exclusive supplier of branded merchandise for some of the largest corporations in the world. The warehouse is located in Downers Grove, IL.
