What You'll Do As a General Laborer, you'll play a critical role in keeping our high-speed packaging and corrugated operation running smoothly. You'll gain valuable hands-on experience while working alongside experienced operators—setting the foundation for future advancement. Assist machine operators by delivering materials to equipment Work with urgency in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict safety standards Minimize scrap waste and transport materials to the appropriate department when needed Accurately tag materials for waste reporting Perform minor janitorial duties such as sweeping floors and removing trash Support overall production flow while maintaining quality standards

What You Bring Essential Skills:

Any experience in high-speed packaging or a fast-paced general labor environment Ability to read a measuring tape and ruler accurately and apply basic shop math Familiarity with packaging, labeling, and working in production settings Ability to lift up to 60 lbs consistently throughout the day

Candidates will be training on first shift before transitioning to the off shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
