Job Description
Material Handler - Elwood At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Material Handler to work with a leading logistics company in Elwood. This role is based in a candy warehouse, where you will support daily production and warehouse operations by ensuring all materials, products, and supplies are available and properly organized to keep the production lines running smoothly. Shift patterns 3rd shift: Sunday to Thursday, 11 pm to 7 am Pay rates 21.00 USD hourly Essential requirements for Material Handler Commute must not be more than 40 minutes Steel toe shoes required Ability to lift and move materials up to 30-50 lbs Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production line environment Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods Team-oriented with good communication skills Strict adherence to food safety standards: no nails, nail polish, eyelashes, or visible piercings Desirable requirements for Material Handler Previous experience in a warehouse environment as a material handler Reliable and punctual Team player with a positive attitude Role for Material Handler Feed production lines with candy, ingredients, and packaging materials to maintain a continuous workflow Work on and around the production line to support ongoing operations and prevent downtime Break down pallets and boxes, sort products, and stage materials for production or storage Restock supplies such as boxes, labels, wrappers, and other packaging components Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and production floor, including waste disposal Benefits for Material Handler Competitive hourly pay Consistent and stable 3rd shift schedule Opportunity to work in a professional and safety-focused environment Clear operational tasks within a fast-paced production setting
