Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for General Labor to join our team in Grant Park, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for handling livestock before processing, assisting with animal preparation, moving products and materials throughout the facility, and maintaining sanitation standards. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working around live animals and raw meat products, must be comfortable working in a slaughterhouse and meat processing environment, and more listed below. Pay, Schedule, and Location Starting at $17/hour Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM Located in Grant Park, Illinois Duties and Responsibilities Assist with handling and moving livestock within designated areas. Perform animal preparation tasks, including shaving or cleaning animals prior to processing. Move products, materials, and equipment throughout the facility. Package, label, and prepare products for storage or shipment. Maintain clean and sanitary work areas, equipment, and processing areas. Follow all food safety, animal welfare, and workplace safety procedures. Assist with inventory organization and warehouse operations. Remove waste materials and maintain facility cleanliness. Report equipment issues, safety hazards, or quality concerns to supervisors. Perform other general labor duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications Must be comfortable working around live animals and raw meat products. Must be comfortable working in a slaughterhouse and meat processing environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift. Comfortable working in cold, wet, noisy, and industrial conditions. Reliable attendance and transportation. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
