PM Job Summary:

People In Motion is seeking a Blender Operator with food production background to join our team in Burr Ridge, IL. The Blender Operator is responsible for verifying batch requisitions, measuring and blending ingredients according to customer specifications, and ensuring that the blending process runs efficiently. This role requires attention to quality, safety, and compliance with food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Comply with all safety processes and procedures . Inspect products to ensure conformance to customer specifications . Record all ingredients received and used during the shift. Measure and blend ingredients according to batch sheet instructions . Operate auxiliary equipment , including weigh scales and conveyor systems. Maintain the blender in a sanitary condition . Recommend improvements to methods, equipment performance, and product quality . Assist in troubleshooting production problems . Ensure test pieces are fed through the metal detector as per SOP. Operate other packaging-related equipment , such as conveyors and tape machines. Set up and break down machines, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas. Complete all required shift paperwork , including scale verification and batch blend records. Train new employees and general laborers on line operations . Report any unsafe or hazardous work conditions to management. Perform general labor duties and any other tasks assigned by management.

Food Safety Responsibilities:

Follow all food safety rules , including SQF, GMPs, and Food Defense regulations. Report any observed food safety violations immediately.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum:

High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 year of previous Blender Operator in food production experience.

Preferred:

3-5 years of Blender Operator in food production experience. Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting . Frequent stooping, climbing stairs, twisting, and bending . Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Pay:

$17.25

25 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
