1st shift material handler 8 am- 5 pm + O.T $22.00/hr Mon- Fri & rotating

www.alliancewf.com Job Summary This position is responsible for all material handling functions within the warehouse, including receiving, storing, moving, and shipping materials. The role follows the direction of the Supply Chain Manager to ensure all job duties are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. Additional tasks may be assigned by leadership or department personnel as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned as needed. Material Receiving & Handling Unload inbound shipments from tankers, containers, and trucks using appropriate equipment. Inspect incoming materials for accuracy, damage, and compliance with purchase orders. Sort, label, and stage materials for quality control (Q.C.) review. Transport materials to designated warehouse locations after approval. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Report discrepancies or damaged goods to the supervisor. Maintain organized storage areas and proper inventory placement. Assist with returned materials processing. Material Movement & Storage Move materials between departments, including production and warehouse areas. Ensure proper stacking, palletizing, and securing of materials. Maintain accurate inventory through scanning systems and documentation. Support cycle counts and physical inventory processes. Shipping & Outbound Handling Pick, stage, and prepare materials for shipment using pick lists and scanning devices. Palletize, wrap, and secure outgoing freight, including handling heavy drums. Verify shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading and packing slips. Label shipments and attach required safety documentation (e.g., SDS). Load outbound trucks safely and efficiently. Coordinate with production to ensure timely shipment of finished goods.
