26-05882 Job Summary The Material Handler II is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring materials are delivered to designated areas in a timely manner to support manufacturing and assembly operations. This role performs inventory transactions, material movements, cycle counting, and work order processing while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with occasional physically demanding tasks. Job Responsibilities Perform material movements accurately and efficiently through both physical handling and system transactions.
Generate work orders through the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
Process work order receipts and inventory transactions within the ERP system.
Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
Ensure materials and inventory are available to support production and assembly operations.
Assist in coordinating the movement and flow of products through manufacturing and assembly processes.
Maintain accurate inventory records and transaction documentation.
Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to support operational objectives.
Handle materials and chemicals safely following established procedures and training requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Support quality, environmental, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Follow all company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety requirements.
Maintain positive working relationships with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational goals.
Perform additional duties as assigned. Job Requirements Experience in material handling, inventory control, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or a related environment.
Ability to accurately perform inventory transactions and material movements.
Experience using ERP systems or similar inventory management software.
Ability to conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
Ability to safely handle materials and chemicals following established training and procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work overtime as required to meet business needs.
Ability to perform occasional strenuous physical labor, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving materials.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Work Experience Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, inventory control, manufacturing, or logistics preferred.
Experience working with ERP systems preferred.
Forklift experience preferred; training will be provided.
