Material Handler

Material Handler - Warehouse & Production Key Responsibilities Examine returned products for defects, damage, or missing components. Power-test and function-test products to verify proper operation. Operate tools and testing devices to confirm products meet performance standards. Clean and sanitize products to prepare them for repackaging. Securely package tested items for redistribution or shipment. Follow production procedures to maintain efficiency and accuracy. Move, organize, and handle products safely to prevent damage. Adhere to all safety rules, PPE requirements, and company policies. Stand for the full shift while performing testing, cleaning, and packaging tasks. Essential Skills & Experience Minimum 6 months in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment. Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain productivity. Comfortable using basic testing tools to verify product functionality. Ability to clean products and maintain a tidy work area. Familiarity with preparing products for shipment or reissue. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Joliet, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
