In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse distribution tasks, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring smooth shipping and receiving processes. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will help us maintain a safe, organized, and productive warehouse. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in materials handling, equipment operation, and warehouse management systems while contributing to our company's success. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, stand up forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently. Handle shipping and receiving duties by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods, and ensuring proper documentation. Conduct heavy lifting tasks while adhering to OSHA safety standards to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment. Manage materials handling activities including load & unload operations, stacking pallets, and organizing inventory within the warehouse. Support warehouse supervision by maintaining accurate records of inventory movements, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations. Packing out materials into drums, pails, jerry cans as needed Experience Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics environments is preferred. Experience with excel for inventory tracking Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to materials handling and heavy equipment operation. Prior DOT training preferred
