Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Material Handler to join our team in Lake Zurich, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for loading, unloading and moving material throughout the plant and manually or by operating electric powered lifts. The ideal candidate will possess experience in a similar role, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, great communication skills, and attention to detail. Pay, Schedule, and Location Starting at $17.75/hour Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision 1st shift Located in Lake Zurich, Illinois Duties and Responsibilities Move stock and other materials to and from storage and production areas by hand or other equipment Convey materials to or from storage or work sites to designated areas, using a hand truck, electric dolly, wheelbarrow, or other device. Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments, material and equipment needs Count, weigh and record number of units of materials moved or handled on a daily production sheet. Attach identifying labels to containers, and/or mark them with identifying information Stack or assemble materials into bundles and bands bundles together, using banding machine or clincher Lift heavy objects by hand or using power hoist and clean work area, machines, and equipment using broom, rags, and cleaning compounds to assist machine operators Assists other workers with specific tasks as requested • Follow plant quality practices including Good Manufacturing Practices, or GMP's Supports the Plant's Food Safety initiatives by completing plant required Food Safety training and by implementing / complying with the required practices Follows plant safety procedures and guidelines Know emergency procedures and what to do in the event of power outages, machine failures, workplace injuries, etc. Wears and utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) as required Understand and identifies Lock-out/Tag-out procedures Informs supervisor of safety issues; reports any workplace injury or incident immediately Actively participates in the D&W safety improvement process/activities Requirements and Qualifications Experience in a similar role Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, Great communication skills Attention to detail -- (Salary range based on experience) -- ABOUT
