Material Handler Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler in a warehouse environment to safely and efficiently move, store, and track materials, including tasks like loading/unloading, inventory organization, and operating equipment, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety guidelines. Key Responsibilities Work safely in a manufacturing environment, adhering to OSHA and company safety standards Receive, inspect, and process inbound and outboard material, ensuring accurate documentation Promptly Loads/unloads shipments, operate forklifts/pallet jacks, and store materials efficiently Maintain accurate documentation of records through tracking, labeling, and organization on a regular basis Inspect and match shipments for damage and correct quantities and associate purchase orders and enter receiving data on paperwork Support on-time shipment of goods and assist in production supply needs Attend required training programs, including forklift certification Maintain cleanliness and adherence to 5S standards Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude Communicate and collaborate with internal team members Provides additional backup support for other departments as assigned Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED required Prior warehouse, material handling, or forklift experience preferred Familiarity with QuickBooks, MRP systems (SAP preferred), and RF equipment is a plus Basic computer skills and ability to read/write in English Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible for overtime and weekend work Work Environment & Physical Demands Manufacturing setting with potential exposure to temperature fluctuations, loud noises, and dust. PPE required (safety glasses, hard hat, earplugs, steel-toe boots, etc.). Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and operating machinery.
