Temporary Summary:
Our client in Cary, IL is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support production and warehouse operations. In this role, you will help maintain the flow of materials throughout the facility by moving raw materials and finished goods, completing documentation, and supporting production schedules. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to gain experience with room to grow within the company.
Responsibilities:
Maintain the flow of materials throughout the facility Move raw materials from inventory to production areas for processing Remove finished goods from production areas and transport to shipping or finished goods warehouse Deliver materials in accordance with production schedules Identify and return materials to inventory as needed Operate a sit-down forklift (as assigned) Maintain accurate paperwork and records Read and comprehend work orders and pick lists Use Outlook and ERP systems for data entry and tracking Perform pushing, pulling, and other physical movements as required
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Ability to lift at least 65 lbs Ability to push, pull, and perform repetitive physical movements Forklift experience preferred (sit-down forklift) Basic computer skills, including Outlook and ERP systems Ability to read and understand orders and pick lists Strong attention to detail Team-oriented mindset
