Job Description

Role Summary The Warehouse Material Handler coordinates and leads activities within a designated work area, focusing on accurate and safe inventory management to meet or exceed both customer and company requirements. This role involves taking a proactive approach to ensure efficient operations while leading by example in daily tasks.

AM Payrate:
$32 per hour Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day work activities, readily respond to team members' issues and concerns and ensure all Distribution tasks are completed according to customer requirements and company standards. Assist in operating machinery and provide additional support to fill resource gaps in designated department when needed Facilitate training for new employees, providing feedback to the Manager and Supervisor on their progress and specific learning needs Delegate routine tasks to team members, audit their work for quality and accuracy, and offer coaching to enhance performance Assist in preparing the warehouse for customer visits, audits (both internal and external), and tours, ensuring a professional presentation Support productivity tracking, data input, and reporting to maintain operational efficiency Utilize JDE, RFS, and RF technology to transact the movement of inventory and ship product Pick, label, stage, wrap, and load orders for shipment with precision and care Inspect materials, finished products, and machinery for defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards Provide guidance to the manufacturing and operations team in interpreting existing processes and policies while assisting in the development of efficiencies and process improvements Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required Experience:
Minimum of 4-6 years of experience. Experience driving powered industrial equipment. Competencies/Skills Intermediate verbal and written communication skills Intermediate mathematical skills Proficient in using computers and relevant software, including JDE/MRP systems, RFS, and MS Office, to manage inventory and streamline operations Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster teamwork, encourage collaboration, and motivate team members Strong interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships and effectively resolve conflicts Good problem-solving skills to identify issues, analyze situations, and implement effective solutions promptly. Physical Requirements Must be able to push/pull objects up to 30 pounds Must have the dexterity to handle small objects Required to stand for extended periods Frequent bending and stooping #ff-dd-ov
