Job Description

Position Summary Machinery Marketing International (MMI) is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations involving industrial machinery and equipment. This position plays a key role in preparing machinery for transport, maintaining a clean and organized facility, and assisting with loading and unloading equipment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in an industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Clean, detail, and prepare CNC machines and industrial equipment for sale, shipment, or storage. Load and unload machinery, tooling, and related equipment using forklifts and other material handling equipment. Assist with preparing machinery for transport, including securing, wrapping, banding, and staging equipment. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with machine inspections, inventory organization, and warehouse maintenance. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Coordinate with rigging crews, truck drivers, and internal staff during equipment moves. Perform basic warehouse and facility maintenance tasks as needed. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Previous warehouse, manufacturing, machinery moving, or industrial experience preferred. Ability to safely operate a forklift (forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification). Experience handling large industrial equipment is a plus. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with CNC machinery are preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Preferred Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus. Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or commercial vehicles is a plus. Experience working with machinery rigging and transportation logistics. Basic knowledge of machine tools, CNC equipment, and manufacturing operations. Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
