Warehouse Associate Royal Furniture Park City, IL Job Details Full-time $15 - $18 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Packing Forklift Warehouse experience Materials handling Picking & packing Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and order fulfillment. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse processes and the ability to operate various equipment safely and effectively. Duties Manage inventory control and maintain accurate stock levels using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks for loading and unloading materials Perform picking and packing of orders accurately to ensure timely delivery Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are properly documented and stored Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency Handle materials safely while adhering to best practices in materials handling Participate in inventory audits and assist with stocking shelves as needed Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory movement within the warehouse Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment Qualifications Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes Familiarity with inventory management practices and order fulfillment procedures Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or order pickers is highly desirable Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues Ability to lift heavy items safely (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift Knowledge of packaging techniques and shipping requirements is an asset Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Understanding of safety regulations related to warehouse operations Join our team as a Warehouse Associate where your skills will contribute significantly to our operational success!
