Job Description

at GatesAir in Quincy, Illinois, United States Job Description The Material Handler position is responsible for performing the physical and administrative tasks involved in the receiving, storing and distributing of material/parts. Ensure all activity is accurately recorded within ERP system. Candidate must be able to conduct work in a professional, safe, and hazard free manner while ensuring a high level of quality control and adhering to material handling precautions for damage/loss prevention.
Primary Duties:
Verify accuracy of deliveries. Identify and label material to their proper stock location. Move materials from receiving area to proper stock location. Accurately pick parts for production and customer orders. Accurately pick customer kits and prep for shipping. Perform inventory updates in ERP system for receipts, issues, transfers and adjustments.
