• 4:00 PM Industry industry (Production Occupations) Reference number S_176280 We are seeking a motivated General Laborer to join our Non Ferrous Material Processing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of processing non ferrous materials, learning to operate various heavy equipment, and ensuring material is sorted, tracked, and prepared for shipment. This role is crucial to the smooth operation of our facility and offers a pathway to permanent employment. Role Highlights

• Schedule:

  First Shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM
• 4:00 PM

• Pay Rate:

  $17.00 per hour

• Location:

  Rockford. What you'll do

• Material Processing:

  Assisting with the processing of non ferrous material through various stages, including working on shaker tables and operating the shredder.

• Equipment Operation:

  Learning and safely operating material handling equipment such as a forklift, baler, and small loader.

• Material Identification:

  Developing the ability to identify various non ferrous materials.

• Sorting and Tracking:

  Loading and unloading sorted material and accurately entering material information into a computer system.

• General Labor:

  Performing general clean-up and labor tasks as required to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. ... What you'll need

• Environment:

  This is a dusty and dirty industrial environment. While the work is primarily conducted under a roof, large exterior doors are frequently open, exposing the area to outside temperatures.

• Physical Demands:

  Must be able to perform physically demanding labor, lift and move material, and stand for extended periods.

Qualities:

Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and possess a strong willingness to learn and take on new operational tasks. Basic computer skills are required for data entry.
