We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Shipping and Receiving Specialist to support our Romeoville warehouse. The Shipping and Receiving Specialist maintains the warehouse while ensuring all the incoming and outgoing deliveries are fulfilled efficiently and safely. Maintains appropriate inventory levels, including repackaging and fabricating products. Keeps the Operation Manager informed of any potential issues. Can balance priorities throughout the year adjusting focus during both the season and off-season. Can be self sufficient when needed, but also able to work with others as projects require. Job Duties Manages the shipment and receipt of products, materials, and supplies Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries, sorts and stocks receivables Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude Prepares product for shipping orders Loads truck with hazardous and non-hazardous materials including securing cargo Prepares product for customer pick-ups Assists customers with pick-ups Maintains a clean warehouse Keep Product and Containment organized Assist Office, Operations, Sales and Service Departments as needed Make small deliveries and pick-ups Repackage product Fabricate products Assists with inventory and stocking product Maintain HAZMAT certifications Maintain forklift certification Forklift maintenance (batteries, etc…) Assist with cleaning vehicles Secure warehouse (Lock up warehouse at end of shift, etc…) Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance Assists with related special projects as required Performs other related duties as assigned by management Job Requirements 3+ Years as a warehouse associate or similar position Valid drivers license Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment Ability to lift at least 60lbs Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing Education Associate Degree Required Bachelor's Degree is a plus Forklift Certification within 30 days of job entry date
