Position Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining an organized warehouse and supporting general material movement within the warehouse. This role ensures inventory is handled safely and efficiently while meeting productivity and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Order-picking Pull and prepare product / orders for shipment Ensure accuracy of product being loaded and shipped, both quantity and sku Perform picking duties in an efficient manner Meet customer service standards Walk throughout the warehouse picking products with manual pallet jack from shelving and racking Loading and Unloading trucks Efficiently move products from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars or trailers Manually unload cartons of product from trailers•containers and stage onto standard warehouse pallets Reaching and lifting preformed regularly when unloading trucks and containers Equipment Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials using material-handling equipment (training provided) Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion Assembly Perform duties such as taping cartons; assembling component bags; assembling pond kits Bending; walking; stretching; lifting; pushing; pulling; standing and taping are some of the activities performed in the assembly department regularly Safety Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards Other Maintain a clean and orderly work area (sweep warehouse floor daily at the end of shift, as requested) Participate in company events Follow all company safety policies and procedures Complete other projects and duties as assigned
Requirements:
At least 18-years old Available to work Monday•Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM•4:30PM Availability to work weekends or overtime when necessary Physical activity requiring bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking and standing for an 8-hour shift Ability to communicate with coworkers and warehouse staff Must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Experience/Skills:
Previous experience in a warehouse environment Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jack, stand-up forklift, etc. (training provided as needed).
Physical Demands & Environment:
Standing and walking required (up to 90% of the day) Frequent use of hands, arms, full-body motion Bending and lifting required (50-60% of the day) Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color distinction, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Warehouse environment with exposure to seasonal temperature changes (warm in summer, cool in winter) Moderate to loud noise levels from machinery, equipment, and forklifts Exposure to dust, packaging materials, and moving mechanical parts Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on task Aquascape Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
