Floral Warehouse Associate

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate at MLA Wholesale plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. This hands-on position involves pulling floral product, organizing and maintaining the cooler, assisting with incoming and outgoing shipments, and loading delivery trucks. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Fulfillment Pull product accurately based on customer order sheets Stage and label orders for packing or pickup Communicate any product shortages or substitutions to the Warehouse Manager Shipment Handling Assist in receiving incoming shipments: unload, inspect, and check in product Help load trucks for outgoing deliveries Organize and store product in the cooler and warehouse as needed Cooler & Warehouse Organization Maintain an organized and clean cooler to ensure efficient pulling Rotate stock and discard unusable product as instructed Keep warehouse aisles and workstations clean and safe Team Support & Communication Work collaboratively with the warehouse team and follow direction from the Cooler Lead and Warehouse Manager Assist in other warehouse tasks as assigned, including potting, hydrating, and labeling product Report product quality concerns or inventory shortages promptly

Qualifications:

Prior warehouse or floral industry experience preferred but not required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a cold environment Strong attention to detail and time management skills Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Willingness to work early morning hours and occasional weekends
