Warehouse Associate/Reefer Truck Driver Inventus Power Illinois LLC Woodridge, IL Job Details Full-time $22 - $26 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Lifting equipment Computer literacy Forklift MRP Driver's License Dangerous goods Material handling equipment operation Quality data entry Full Job Description What You'll Do We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate / Reefer Truck Driver to support warehouse operations and transport goods between two company locations. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, forklift certification or experience, strong computer and inventory management skills, and a clean driving record. This position requires compliance with all transportation and hazardous material handling regulations. Responsibilities (Including other duties as assigned) Operate reefer (refrigerated) truck to transport materials and products safely between two company facilities. Load, unload, inspect, and secure shipments for transport. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Receive, stock, organize, and pull inventory accurately. Use MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to track inventory, shipments, and production-related materials. Maintain accurate records using warehouse software and computer systems. Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety procedures. Complete and maintain required certification for handling and transporting dangerous or hazardous goods. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly. Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits. Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and loading areas. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and receiving personnel. What You Will Need Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. Experience driving reefer trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred. Forklift experience required; certification preferred. Ability and willingness to obtain hazardous materials/dangerous goods certification. Experience working with MRP systems and inventory software required. Basic to intermediate computer skills, including data entry and email communication. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 25+ pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift. Comfortable working in warehouse and refrigerated environments. Preferred Qualifications Previous warehouse and logistics experience. Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures. Experience handling regulated materials.
