Warehouse Associate

ResourceMFG is hiring a Warehouse Associate for a large company in Bloomington, IN. The warehouse associate will have a variety of knowledge in a warehouse setting from picking and packing using a scanner to shipping and receiving. This position requires at least 6 months of experience using the sit down gas forklift in the last two years. Operating a forklift will only account to about 20% of your job duties.

Skills and Competencies:

Team player and detail oriented. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Support of one function within the Warehouse department (ex. Shipping, Receiving, etc.). Transport/staging of product. Maintain work and product store areas. Other duties as assigned. This job has a possibility of conversion to full time based on attendance and job performance. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED required. 2 years experience in a warehouse is required. 6 months in the last 2 years operating a sit down gas forklift.
