Warehouse Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Technician to join our team. You will work Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This role involves handling various warehouse tasks and requires a proactive approach to managing inventory and shipments. Responsibilities Utilize material handling equipment for inbound and outbound shipments, including loading and unloading trucks, and locating and picking material into and out of warehouse racks. Safely operate assigned material handling equipment, ensuring all equipment is inspected and in safe operating condition. Report accidents and unsafe conditions to the supervisor. Stock and arrange products to ensure efficient warehouse turnover of inventory. Determine accurate material quantities through cycle counting. Receive material into inventory, move material between designated locations, and locate/pick material from warehouse locations as required. Ensure accurate part number, quantity, and data entries impacting electronic records. Resolve discrepancies with material quantities and part numbers. Ensure pallets are stable, observe pallet heights, and verify that material, racking, and equipment are not damaged. Ensure materials are not left in aisles. Practice safe material handling techniques. Perform housekeeping duties as assigned. Demonstrate flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required. This role is designated as Safety Sensitive. Essential Skills Experience with inventory management and control. Proficiency in operating forklifts, including sit-down forklifts. Skills in shipping and receiving, picking, packing, and loading. Ability to use RF scanners and pallet jacks. Strong material handling capabilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with shipping carriers such as UPS, Federal Express, Airborne, DHL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
