Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position is highly physical and requires employees to lift, move, and handle materials weighing between 50 and 75 pounds throughout the shift. Associates will also operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, transport, and organize materials within the warehouse. To be considered, candidates must have recent experience operating a sit-down forklift and performing physically demanding warehouse work involving frequent heavy lifting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse. Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers. Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products. Pull, stage, and prepare orders for shipment. Manually lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing 50-75 pounds throughout the shift. Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock locations. Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed. Ensure products are properly labeled, stored, and handled. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies and forklift operating procedures. Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications Recent experience operating a sit-down forklift required. Previous warehouse experience required. Experience performing physically demanding work with frequent lifting of 50-75 pounds required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, twist, and reach throughout the entire shift. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of 50-75 pounds. Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Ability to safely enter, exit, and operate a sit-down forklift throughout the workday. Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks for the duration of the shift. Requirements for Consideration Candidates must have: Recent sit-down forklift experience. Previous warehouse experience involving heavy material handling. A proven work history in physically demanding positions requiring frequent lifting of 50-75 pounds. This is not a light-duty warehouse position. Applicants should be comfortable performing heavy lifting and physical labor throughout their entire shift while safely operating warehouse equipment.
