Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for organizing and handling scaffold materials and insulation within the warehouse. This role includes maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring proper storage, assisting with loading, unloading, and, at times, delivering materials to job sites. Must have strong organizational skills, the ability to lift heavy materials, and a commitment to workplace safety. Additional responsibilities include staging, loading, and unloading finished products and materials, stocking and maintaining warehouse inventory, performing basic preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, and inspecting materials, tools, and equipment for compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and arrange scaffold materials and insulation products in the warehouse. Ensure inventory is accurately labeled and stored according to company standards. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries and shipments. Prepare orders for delivery and verify the accuracy of materials. Safely operate a forklift (if certified or willing to become certified) to move heavy materials. Perform routine checks on inventory levels and report discrepancies. Assist with the delivery of materials to job sites as required. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the warehouse. Responsible for quality control. No damaged materials are sent out. No damaged material is accepted in. Complete daily logs. Move waste from warehouse to dumpsters. Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures to minimize accidents and damages. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred. Forklift experience is a plus but not required (willing to train the right candidate). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Work Environment:
Indoors and outdoors work around the warehouse, which may include exposure to weather conditions (rain, heat, cold). Potential exposure to loud noises, extreme temperatures, etc.
Protective Equipment:
Hard hat, leather gloves, steel toe boots, and goggles provided by the company are the basic PPE.
