Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The Material Handler's primary role is to ensure material is prepped and delivered to the machines, delivery of assembly materials as well as other departments throughout the facility. Perform inventory cycle counts when applicable. Provide back-up support for Shipping and Receiving Department including unloading and loading trucks and preparing for shipments when needed.

Perform inventory cycle counts when applicable. Provide back-up support for Shipping and Receiving Department including unloading and loading trucks and preparing for shipments when needed.
RESPONSIBILTIES
Material deliveries to Machine shop, assembly, etc. including boxes, trays, direct materials, and bar stock. Provide inventory control support throughout the facility. Retrieval of pallets of goods from parts processing/assembly area. Assist with preparing palletized shipments Prepare raw materials to be machined Load/Unload trucks when needed Conduct material cycle counts specifically bar stock as each job finishes. Delivery of materials to suppliers or customers as needed. Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma Inventory Control and material traceability understanding preferred Shipping and/or Receiving experience is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS
Forklift certified and use of pallet jack MS Office Product experience, working knowledge of Excel Team player & Self-starter Quality driven work Inventory Control understanding and experience including ERP systems experience ITAR and FFL compliant background
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & PPE REQUIREMENTS 100
% walking 50 lb lifting, pushing, pulling Working with various materials Insurable to drive by commercial insurance standards Drive company vehicles when necessary
