We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to help keep our production floor organized and running smoothly.Job Description:
The Material Handler plays a key role in supporting production by moving materials, maintaining inventory, and keeping work areas clean and safe. This position requires someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, and able to keep things moving in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
Stay in constant communication with production zones to assist with retrieving or moving products. Place paper to press and move raw goods to cutters or presses using material-moving equipment (e.g., forklift, electronic jack). Restock shelves and ensure materials are always available for production. Manage scrap paper and cardboard, including changing wire on the baler and cleaning the baler room. Operate forklifts, electronic jacks, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Adhere to schedules and meet department quality standards. Perform daily and basic maintenance on equipment. Keep work areas neat, organized, and safe. Communicate effectively with team members and leadership. Take initiative to identify and address issues that may impact workflow. Handle multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.Qualifications:
High School diploma required. 2-3 years of experience in a similar role preferred. Forklift certification or prior training required. Proficiency with basic computer skills. Ability to read and interpret job tickets and visual instructions. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with little supervision. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds, bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks. Self-motivated, reliable, and a strong team player. Why Join Our Team?
