Job Description

Material Handler - Kirby Risk Precision Machining Lafayette, IN Are you a motivated self-starter with a strong attention to detail? Are you flexible and thrive in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a Material Handler at our Kirby Risk Precision Machining location in Lafayette, IN! If so, we want you on our team. At Kirby Risk Precision Machining , We provide machining solutions for our customers in industrial, construction, agricultural, oil and gas, forestry, mining, power generation, and electric drive-train sectors. What You'll Do as a Material Handler In this role, you will ensure the accurate and timely receipt of inventory and delivery of material to support the manufacturing environment.
You'll:
Deliver raw material throughout the production facility Stage raw material and work in process for production efficiency Verify accuracy of incoming material quantities Maintain and organize all inventory storage locations, including materials received for repairs and stock Communicate inventory discrepancies to production management What Makes You a Great Fit High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience Demonstrate basic Mechanical aptitude Previous shipping/receiving experience is required. Previous forklift experience; Current forklift certification Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal, leadership, and customer contact skills Clean driving record and Valid Driver's License (For Hire Endorsement, must be 21 years of age) What to Expect in This Role Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and adapt to varied work environments
Schedule:
